Hello!

The story of me,dj sasj, takes its beginning in the year of 1999. I finished the ground school and was starting at High School. At that time I mainly listened to dance and pop music. But soon that was going to change, and I would discover a brand new world in music. The world of electronic music.

One of his new classmates introduced the music to me, and it caught my attention with a blast.

Right away I was caught by the beauty in the music, the strings, sounds, pads and those feelings and emotions it woke and brought up in me.

Very soon I started to buy my first cd's and vinyl's with trance music, and also I quickly got a double cd player+ mixer and started to practice mixing. In the start I only mixed cd's, and the listened to the vinyls at my parent's turntable. But it only took some time, before I got hold on my own turntable, so the vinyl's started to be brought in also when I practiced mixes.

In the meantime I also started working at a discotheque in Copenhagen , not as a dj though, but still it was a big and great experience for him. Every time I was at work I took all the time I could to talk with the dj's and stand next to them when they played, looking and learning how they did.

On Wednesdays the discotheque was holding weekly trance club (Club Gorgeous), and I was there every time I had the chance, I meet a lot of new people and created many new contacts. One night at the club, I was contacted by a group of young people who was about too starting up a sort of dj ‘club'. The idea was to gather young talented/new dj's at a place, and help each other with practice mixing and learn new skills behind the both. I joined them right away, and today I can among others thank them for that it has brought me far and has given me a good base as a trance dj. Thank you!

It was also along with those guys I got the chance to play at that same club, one of the evenings where they hold a party there. A memorable night for me, and an experience I will soon forget.

Things started to go fast from that point on, I soon started sending out demo's to some radio stations and party/club promoters, and soon I got my first residency at a local radio station! During the years up till now it has only gone one way I would say, and thats up and forward! Today I'm holding a residency at several radio stations, also playing club and events job from time to time. The first production, which I made together with a friend, has also seen the daylight and there is hopefully more to expect from that side in the future. Also I'm doing a lot to keep myself updated and keep the feeling on what's moving in the world of trance and progressive.

Showing the audience every time what is his big passion in life, the love for the music!
